Traineeship opportunities at the European Medicines Agency

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has recently published over 50 new traineeship opportunities for its https://careers.ema.europa.eu/content/Traineeship/?locale=en_GB

These traineeships are great opportunities for recent graduates in areas related to life sciences (biomedicines, veterinary, pharmacy, etc.), IT and data (statistics, mathematics, computer engineering, etc.) and social sciences (economics, communication, library, HR, etc.)

The programme will run from 1 October 2026 until 31 July 2027 at the EMA offices in Amsterdam (with hybrid home working).

 

In order to be eligible to the EMA traineeship programme, candidates need to:

    • Be an EU or EEA national
    • Be a recent university graduate (graduated between 6 May 2025 and 6 May 2026) or a university student on an Erasmus + or a similar programme or a PhD student or a Master's student with a previous fully finished degree.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of English (at least level C1) and a good knowledge of another official EU language (at least B2), as per the Common European Framework for Languages.
